Your Next Appointment<\/h3><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block regular-robot  lineh2\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-1baa4d64\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-1baa4d64\">We have implemented enhanced infection control protocols above and beyond the stringent policies we already have in place, created new patient flows to adhere to physical distancing guidelines and procured the necessary protective equipment to keep all of our patients and staff safe.<br>We will contact you to reschedule your missed appointment, if you did not have an appointment and would like to book one, please give us a call and we will be more than happy to book you in.<br>Before your next visit, we wanted to highlight to you some of the changes we have made to further protect your health. Here is the list of new safety protocols we have put in place:<\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block font30 blueb bold-js\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-d240762d\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-d240762d\"><h3>Patient Screening<\/h3><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block regular-robot  lineh2\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-a726686b\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-a726686b\">The day before your appointment, we will call you to perform a \u2018Pre-Appointment Screening\u2019, for the purpose of determining if you have any COVID-19 symptoms before arriving at our office.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block font30 blueb bold-js\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-3c92a3c5\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-3c92a3c5\"><h3>Patient Protection Station<\/h3><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block regular-robot  lineh2\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-e9f45419\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-e9f45419\">At the front entrance, we\u2019ve added a \u2018Patient Protection Station\u2019, which includes hand sanitizer and face masks for your use. After each appointment, we will clean, disinfect and sterilize the operatory, instruments and all surfaces.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block font30 blueb bold-js\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-8f24822c\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-8f24822c\"><h3>Interaction Limits<\/h3><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block regular-robot  lineh2\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-39bc769d\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-39bc769d\">We will ask you to wait in your vehicles or outside the office until we text or call you for your appointment.<br>At our reception desks, we\u2019ve installed plexiglass barriers and placed \u2018Stand Here\u2019 markers on the ground away from the desk to encourage physical distancing.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block font30 blueb bold-js\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-fa45d064\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-fa45d064\"><h3>Physical Distancing<\/h3><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block regular-robot  lineh2\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-ace7b563\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-ace7b563\">In our waiting room, we\u2019ll leave the minimum number of chairs for seating and ensure they are placed 2 metres (6 feet) apart. Our staff members will wipe down all surfaces with an approved surface cleaner as well.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block font30 blueb bold-js\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-a7f7db22\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-a7f7db22\"><h3>Your Comfort Is Our Concern<\/h3><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block regular-robot  lineh2\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-30f32b48\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-30f32b48\">If at any time, you feel unsure of the new protocols, feel free to ask our staff about the proper procedures. We will also post signs in specific areas to help guide you through the new process.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block font30 blueb bold-js\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-53acdbbf\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-53acdbbf\"><h3>Staff Monitoring<\/h3><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block regular-robot  lineh2\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-73ea39ae\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-73ea39ae\">In addition to these new protocols, our staff will continuously self-monitor for any symptoms (fever with either cough or sore throat, or muscle aches) they may experience and will quarantine for the mandatory 14 days in the event they are ill.<br><br>As we continue to monitor the above protocols to ensure effectiveness, we will keep you updated with any changes. If any of these protocols change and we need to reschedule your care at any time, we will contact you directly. Please monitor your emails or our website for additional Public Health information.<br>In the meantime, if you have an urgent need please reach out to us via phone.
